Dr. Rick Stevens

Associational Missionary, Dr. Rick Stevens

Dr. Stevens comes to the Cumberland Baptist Association from the pastorate.  He pastored churches in Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, and Mississippi.  Dr. Stevens earned his MDiv and D Min from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.  He has served in various leadership positions both on the state and local level.  He is married to his wife, Shirley and has two children Valerie and Sam.

Linda Biggar
 Minisitry Assistant, Linda Biggar
Linda Biggar serves the association as ministry assistant and financial secretary.  She has served the association for 25 years in this position.  Linda Biggar began serving as ministry assistant for the association in October, 1986.  She and her husband, Tommy, reside on a cattle farm in the Port Royal Community and are members of Little Hope Baptist Church.  They are the parents of two grown children, Amanda and Tom.  Amanda (Mandy) Gainesville, FL where she is employed as an athletic trainer.  Their son, Tom, wife Stephanie and their two children, live in Clarksville where he is employed by the Montgomery County Farmers Co-op.   
Wally Vinson
 Associate Associational Missionary, Wally Vinson
Wally has Masters of Divinity Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky.  He has been in local church ministry since 1990.  Wally has served churches in Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky.   Wally and his wife Tara have three daughters.  He  assists the Associational Missionary in the areas of Sunday School and Discipleship with additional responsibilities in VBS, and Student Ministry.
