On February 25, 1995, while working with her parents at the Shoulder Building, LeAnn suffered a severe asthma attack from which she died. Her parents, desiring to memorialize her in a meaningful way, established the LeAnn Fambrough Memorial Scholarship fund. On January 31, 2005 the Executive Board of the Cumberland Baptist Association accepted the responsibility for administering the scholarship fund. Until the Lord returns, the dividends from this fund will continue to assist young people in education, music, and other ministry areas. A committee, which will include a member of the Fambrough family, will be appointed to oversee the administration and awarding of funds each year. Funds are now available. Please call the association office for application details. Any member of a participating Cumberland Baptist Associational church may apply for this scholarship fund. Any person or church of the association can contribute to this scholarship at any time. Perhaps you will want to remember a person close to you through a contribution to this scholarship. As you do, you keep the memory of a fine, Christian, young lady alive. My prayer is that many lives will be enriched through this scholarship fund, and God will bless the fund for His Glory.
